Our Project E-NUFF has been working since 2015 to call attention in San Francisco to the need to act on flavored tobacco. Project E-NUFF’s research has included surveys of San Francisco high school students, a focus group with adults on the issue, key informant interviews, community presentations, and meetings with elected officials.

Breathe California will be continuing Project E-NUFF, with renewed support from the San Francisco Department of Public Health, in 2017 and 2018. In light of the passage of Supervisor Malia Cohen’s proposed ordinance to ban the sale of flavored tobacco products in San Francisco, Project E-NUFF will focus its efforts on community awareness and education, and implementation of the ordinance, including learning about retailers and the public’s perceptions of the law.
